Bouanga created one of the best chances of the first half after making a strong run into the penalty area, but Seattle defender Kim Kee-Hee made an important block to keep the game scoreless.

Seattle also looked dangerous on the counterattack through Jordan Morris and Paul Rothrock, forcing LAFC’s defense to stay alert throughout the opening half.

Despite both teams creating opportunities, neither side was able to break through before halftime as the match remained scoreless heading into the break.

Seattle continued pressing and nearly found the breakthrough again in the 76th minute when Danny Musovski struck the post during one of the visitors’ best attacking moments of the night.

The goal sent the crowd at BMO Stadium into celebration and proved to be the difference in one of LAFC’s biggest wins of the season.

Seattle pushed numbers forward during stoppage time searching for an equalizer and nearly found one late, but LAFC’s defense held firm under pressure to secure the clean sheet.
